Once again, I have to say that my procrastination for planning my lessons is coming back to bite me in the behind. I have my 3 hr classes tonight (one of which is the evil one) and I have NO IDEA what I'm going to talk about with them for such a long time. The 4:00 class isn't too bad, because they are at the same level as one of my other classes, so I basically use the same lesson plan. But my middle school students, that's another story. These kids have to be "entertained" while learning in order for me to get them to focus.
This is the weekend I'm going to get ahead ;)
Thank you to everyone who has emailed me or called me on skype - it's so nice to come to work and read all about what's going on over on the other side of the world. Sarah, thank you so much for you video message and facebook posts - you have no idea how much I really needed that :D
I have a pretty bad head cold right now that I'm taking tons of medicine for - I hope that it will be gone by this weekend.
Anyways, back to my much needed planning...

I do feel sorry for you cause I have suffered through a cold last week and it was hard to teach and be enthusiastic when I wasn't feeling well. Take it easy on the weekend to give your body a chance to fight the bug! Do you have plans for your weekend? I am going to St.Mary's on Sunday night to see the Joosse's and have Shelby checked over. She has been having some good and not so good days. Tomorrow is Beach day so I'll be hunting for some wild shirt, sunglasses and hat to get ready. I am going to set up the beach umbrella and we'll sit on beach towels for our lessons. I am planning my space unit for after the break so I went over to Scholars Choice to find some space stuff and am going to try and grow crystals in the drama centre which will be "The International Space Centre" I am hoping to get it set up after school so it is ready to go after the break. Hope you can get Skype to work again so you can talk to your faraway friends and family! Love Mom
Wow its great to hear that you are having a good time doing more homework. I hate homework and I can't wait to be done with it.
I have a bunch of assignments due in the next little while so the library will become my new home. Ill just bring my pillow to campus and it will all be good.
How is the sushi?
